Best Show at Walt Disney World! on 4/24/2013 by Disneydonna

Whatever you do, do not miss the Festival of the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom. This is my absolute favorite show on property. It has lots of acrobats, music, larger than life animatronics, floats, and participation opportunities for the kiddos. I could watch this show over and over again.

Absolutely the BEST show in all the WDW parks on 2/29/2012 by Jodi

This show is an absolute MUST do for my family and I on every trip.  The music is so much fun and the interaction between the performers and audience is wonderful.  When the show first starts, it seems like a traditional musical show you would see at other parks.  HOWEVER, then the acrobats come out and the fun really begins!  Seeing the 'monkeying' around is so much fun.  Not to mention listening to the amazing vocalists is truly awe inspiring.  When visiting the Animal Kingdom, be sure to pick up a showtimes guide, make note of the times that will work for you, and be sure to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early, depending on how busy the parks are.  If you have young children, it's probably a good idea to let them know it will be kind of loud and that it's possible a monkey might just stop by to say hello as well.  And be sure to have your camera and

Great show; love the fire dude! on 10/11/2005 by Ser Alan

A Cirque du Soleil-ish take on the Lion King; this is a very entertaining bit of fun. The pre-show is pretty amusing, nobody seems to know how to make Giraffe noises... makes me laugh every single time! The fire eating guy is great and the other performances are quite good as well. Still, you really have to see the original Cirque to get the full experience!!
