Step into the fairy tale Bavarian town that is the Germany pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. The statue of St. George and the dragon as well as the glockenspiel, which chimes every hour, add to the charm of the Germany pavilion. The railroad garden with three miniature trains running through a realistic German village adds a touch of whimsy, too. There are several shops in the Germany pavilion which sell various items such as German pastries, wines, Hummel figurines, crystal, beer steins, wood carvings, cuckoo clocks, and all things German. The Biergarten Restaurant is patterned after a large Oktoberfest beer hall and has an all-you-can-eat buffet as live entertainment, all clad in lederhosen.
