Disappointment on 12/28/2009
I booked my reservation thinking that my dining experience would be wonderful. I had heard only good reviews and was looking forward to my dinner. When I arrived, I was displeased. The service was slow and I was left waiting and without drinks. Also the staff wasn't as caring as the others I have encountered on my trip. The food wasn't terrible, just not great. The bread was good and the duck flatbread was tasty. The food went downhill from there. The chicken was pressed, the pizza too oily, the tuna and spinach lacked spinach, and the salmon was bland. The chocolate cake tasted like straight up chocolate, which it was. Chocolate cake with chocolate goo inside, yum. It was the worst restauraunt I have eaten at in Disney World. I will never return to the California Grill. I expected much more from this business causal dining experance.
