We're here![sm=dancegirl.gif][image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/sign.jpg[/image]
[image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/entrance.jpg[/image]There is both self-park and valet parking (for a $10 fee). We opted for the valet parking and thoroughly enjoyed walking from the car right into the park[&o]
The registration area is very aesthetically pleasing, n'est-ce pas?[image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/registration.jpg[/image]The system is well designed and took only a few minutes even though everyone arrives right around the same time.
Here is an even better picture of those dolphins swimming across the registration area ceiling[:-]

Out into the park we go[>:][image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/overview.jpg[/image]
[image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/map.jpg[/image]There are several different areas and these delightful tile maps show you where you are at any given location[&o]
Indeed, you'll find that 'tile' is a distinct part of the theming at Discovery Cove.. even the planter pots!

As we entered the park, we were greeted by this friendly sloth who welcomed having his back stroked (VERY COOL![:)])[image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/sloth.jpg[/image]
Our first stop was to procure a couple of lounges with an umbrella. We figured we'd spend some time reading and resting... NOT![:-][image]http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/media/discoverycove/lounges.jpg[/image]
