Yippee! It's AK day!! AK is my second fave park, right behind MK! I absolutely LOVE it there!! So, I was super excited to get there that morning! Upon arrival, we headed straight for EE! The line looked long, but we were on in about 10 min or less! [:)] What a great ride that is! I had to laugh, though, at my goofball Justin! He was really scared of this ride. Even though he had done Space Mt, Splash Mt, BTMRR, Mission Space, and TT, he ws still freaking out about EE and the whole backwards part. Right before we boarded our train, he looked me in the eye, serious as could be, and told me, "mom, I hope you're happy b/c now we're going to die". FOR PETE'S SAKE![8D] However, once we got going, he was laughing and hollering, etc!! As I knew, he LOVED it!! So, we grabbed FP's for it and headed over to Dinoland. We rode Primevil Whirl, the flying dinos, and did Dinosaur! Then it was time for our FP's and perhaps then some lunch! So, we headed back to EE where we were in the last two cars on the train! I have to say, I think the very back is way more fun than the front! Jeff and I were in the very back with the boys directly in front of us. What a blast!! After that, we headed to FlameTree for lunch which was, of couse, delicious!! We fed the Ibis and a stray duck who showed up for a snack. After lunch, we took a trip on Kali and did the Safari. I was amazed at how many animals we saw being that late in the day! It was a great Safari. And Kali was awesome! We rode with the nicest family ever!! What a great ride that was! Justy got soaked! I was prob the next wettest and spend most of the rest of the day with a wet hiney!! Denim doesn't dry fast!
We headed over to Rafiki's Planet Watch after Kali. I love it there! We met up with Rafiki, Pocohantas, and Jiminy Cricket! I was so sad b/c we had forgotten the boys' autograph books in the room that morning! Oh well! Then we went back over and did the jungle trekk, ITTBAB, and Festival of the Lion King. Now it was time for dinner at Yak and Yeti. All I can say is [:)]!! We had a great table on the second floor next to a window! It was amazing to see! Our food was delicious! Our waitress was nice, but not the best waitress ever. But the food more than made up for it! It was great!! And the mango pie I had for dessert was absolutely to die for! Soooo gooooood!!! After dinner we decided to head back to the room and go to the arcade. Justin stopped and bought a dragon and off we went. The boys played in the arcade that night while Jeff and I just sat outside and soaked in the surroundings. It was a gorgeous night! Then it was off to bed to rest up for another fun filled day!
