Ok, I have a good happy story. Or at least a magical one... We're at AK in 2002 - the soon-to-be wife, and I, and her 10 year old god daughter were waiting for the parade, over near Camp Minnie-Mickey. We had a pretty good spot - right across from (I think) the DVC booth. It was some sort of small covered area, anyway. So we're waiting, and along come a couple of guys with a guitar, some steel drums, and a bass. They set up in the middle of the parade route, and start playing some fun instrumental island music. Then it starts to rain. We all put on our ponchos to wait...and the band guys quickly drag their stuff under the canopy. A minute later they are set back up. They start playing again, and then the rain gets harder. Then all of a sudden, they start playing " I can see clearly now" by Johnny Nash...then the guitar player, with a huge smile, starts singing. The next thing you know, everyone standing there waiting starts singing along in the rain. We went through the song a couple of times, when lo and behold, the rain stopped, and the sun came out brighter than ever. Everyone cheered! They played a few more songs, and then the parade began. If that's not Disney Magic, I don't know what is!
