Coreybear -> Dizzie Whirl fireworks? (6/25/2008 11:15:58 AM)

Happy Wicky Wacky Wednesday everybuddy! I was chatting, via email, about Dizzie Whirl with a friend of mine the other day and the question of fireworks popped up. Marc asked me if it is possible to view the nightly fireworks in the Magic Kingdom from any of the Dizzie resorts. I told him the one and only time I was ever at the Whirl was smack in the middle of a hurricane storm attacking central Florida, so I did not have the answer to his question. I am guessing the Magic Kingdom fireworks can certainly be seen from the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian, and Polynesian resorts, but other than that I have no idea. Is it possible to see any fireworks from the Wilderness Lodge? Oh, are the 4th of July fireworks any different from the routine nightly shows? I think it would be totally groovie to view the fireworks from your resort room window or balcony -- but then you'd not hear the accompanying musical soundtrack. You could get creative and make up your own soundtrack, I s'pose. Marc has been to Dizzie Whirl once, many years ago, but I don't think he stayed at any of the Dizzie resorts. He told me he did not like the Whirl because it is too big . . . oh well.
