Sept 7- 13th and the goofy gang go to WDW:
Erin
Tonya
Justin
Kristin
Jeremy
Ashley {the girlfriend}
Tommy {my nephew}
Jessica {his fiancee'}
Little Thomas 6 months old.
Sept 7th
After much hurricane stressing- Decided the hurricane wasn't going to stop us!
Up at 5 am to leave at 6:15 am. We meet up with my nephew down the road-and off we go!!
Watch out Disney, here we come!
After a short 9 hours and several stops later we pull into Disney!
We do our typical "We're here" scream as we pass under the gate. Next we try to pick which color monorail will we see first... no one won.
We drive Tommy to The Pop Century and we head over to Ft Wilderness to check in. There wasn't a person in line! Cool.
We get my favorite loop number and I didn't even have to beg for it! Our cabin number is 2503. It's on the inside of the loop and right up front near the pool and bus stop.
A mad dash to unload the car and a quick change we drive to The Contemporary for our dinner at The Wave.
I love the look and feel. The food was yummy! The desserts were interesting. Pictures below of our meal.
The baby- Thomas was a hoot during dinner. So he kept us entertained.
After dinner we browse the stores upstairs and then it's back to the resorts for swimming.
It's so wonderful to be here! 6 nights ahead of us. Nothing could be sweeter!
Tomorrow it's a relaxing day- Chef Mickeys and DTD shopping.
