Happy Day, Pixiekin!
I've been lurking but not posting much due to the powers that be tightening the thumb screws at work, baseball season and a general funk that has descended upon me (which is happily lifting) but we went to see WALL-E and Dan and I were both completely uplifted.
If you haven't already, run, don't walk, to see this movie! See it many times!! See it when you're in a bad mood and I guarantee you'll come out with a smile on your face. See it when you're happy and you'll come out even happier. I am completely in love with WALL-E. He's my favorite character since Stitch (and that's saying something). In fact, I think I might walk over to the Disney Store at lunch to see if I can find a cute little WALL-E toy for my Geek-O-Sphere*
I won't say much more except this: STAY FOR EVERY LAST SECOND OF THE CREDITS!!!!
*Geek-O-Sphere = the area around your computer/workspace that shows off just what a Geek you are. My Geek-O-Sphere currently showcases a set of Mouse Ears, a Totoro plushie, a Pocket Buddha, photos of family/friends/Gabriel, a cobalt blue vase with red and orange silk Gerbera daisies, a large picture of Mickey Mouse and various Chicago Cubs paraphernalia. Oh, and a few office supplies, LOL!
