I truly feel your pain . In our house we feel a great low the first week home but for me I start planning our next trip or just remind everyone that the next trip is so many days away.I know it stinks coming home from Disney but cheer up and fill the void with Disney dreams.

Oh how well I know the feeling!
I'm planning our next trip on the way to the airport home..if not sooner!
Even if that trip is a long way away..start planning your next adventure!
It's the only cure I know of!!!
That and coming here to share the fun we've had!

It doesn't hit me until the 2nd week after we get home. I'm usually still pretty keyed up and tired the first week. I'm also unpacking, putting my new treasures in their new homes, and going through all the pictures and video. The 2nd week is when it kicks in for me but I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE FEELING! There's nothing like being at Disney.

Ahhhhh....those "lovely" Disney  withdrawals.  What's so funny is that I live about 45 minutes away.  I STILL have those doggone withdrawals.  After we take our week-long in Septemer, it's the worst.  We go over for day trips a lot to get a quick "fix" but I have to tell you......it's not quite the same as when you're going to be heading back to your Walt Disney World hotel room that evening.  You really feel like your completely immersed when you have that room booked for that night.  AND there's nothing better than laying in a Disney bed, with its cool white sheets, snuggled up (the Beach Club beds are THE BEST), the AC turned down, after a long tiring day, and watching Disney's Top 7 with Stacey. Oh, I can close my eyes and I'm there.

Ahhh, I feel your pain, Kelsey!  It's a bummer when we have to come back to the real world.  But, at least we can take solace in planning a future trip!  Do you have any idea when you plan to go back?  Mine's not till 2010, but heck, at least it's something!!  If you don't know when you'll be back, you can always do some planning w/out dates.  Just know you're not alone.  Let's face it, the real world isn't always a very friendly place, is it?  But you'll be back to the magic soon, I know it!

UGH! That Disney depression- as I call it. Mine starts the day we have to leave. I just want to suck in everything around me and keep it as a memory!
The first day home is the hardest for me. This past trip, my 11 year old, was hit hard. He cried- and kept telling me he was sad to be away from Disney!
I always start planning a trip on the ride home. And it can't be more than a year off or else I get very depressed!!!
Now my husband on the other hand, is happy to be home and back at work! Somethings wrong with that man!!

My depression wears off after a week, then things are back to normal and my countdown conts.
