Sweet Aunt Maureen passed away last night, at 11:28 pm.      Sister Nativity was with her, and she said it was a very peaceful passing.  I am not surprised, as Aunt Maureen had such a closeness to God, and was so Blessed.  I am going to miss her very much, physically not being able to hug her, or speak to her.  That being said, I already feel her in my heart, in a big way.  I know that I have a special angel praying for me in Heaven, and smiling down on me.

Please, keep us all in your thoughts and prayers this week, as we celebrate Aunt Maureen's life.  She was a very holy person, but still had a sense of fun about her.  You know what she had down on the menu for her funeral day?  Hot Dogs!  No kidding!  I guess that is a big treat for the Sisters, they only have them for picnics.  Aunt Maureen wants the Sisters to have a picnic on her funeral day.

Please, remember to say I love you, to those you love.  Say it often, and hug each other whenever you can.

Francine

Awww... a picnic..... what a sweet final blessing to the sisters!  How wonderful!  My thoughts are with you during this time.  I love how you mention celebrating her life instead of mourning her passing.... what a great way to see things!

to you and all her religious family.  Sister Maureen will be sorely missed, but is being welcomed home with open arms.  I really like the  idea of hotdogs.

I'm sorry for your loss Francine. You were indeed blessed to have known her.

A picnic with hot dogs is such a sweet and delightful send off! Just think... your thoughts will turn to her every time you enjoy a hot dog. And, it will be pleasant thoughts!

I know Aunt Maureen was a vital part of your family and you will miss her dearly.  She was the one who made you, Tim and Mari a family.  I think its wonderful that she wanted her life celebrated with hotdogs and a picnic!  Like Tammy said every time you have a hotdog now you'll loving think of Aunt Maureen.  Celebrate her live and remember all the wonderful things you have done for each other.  God Bless you Sister Maureen Magdalen!
