Aparentley he was born with a small hole at the base of his spine that is called a Sacral Dimple. Now a lot of Babies have this and it is ok if it is not deep. His was never found and I did not know about it until Brooke, his Mom, told me. 9 Months later!! Now it is a deep hole that probably leads to his spine. He has what is called a Sacral Sinus tract infection now and the hole is getting bigger. He needs to be seen by a Pediatric surgeon on 8/13 and they will need to graft over or some how close this hole. It is suprising he never got menengitis or something!! He is now on antibiotics. Pray that this next round of surgery will be quick, easy, and fairly pain-free for him

Here is Ryan and his Mommy and Daddy, Brooke and Tony, this past Saturday.

Oh gosh...well I will definitely keep you all in my prayers. I hope that this goes very smooth for him and am so glad it was finally found.

Aww poor Ryan! He's been through so much already :( Here's lots of pixie dust and wishes that he heals fine and doesn't have much more to go through other than typical kid stuff.

Oh my goodness, the poor baby. Bless his little sweet heart, Ryan has surely been through a lot in his short life. I will certainly be praying that all goes well.

Ryan has my prayers and thoughts as he goes through his next medical issue. He is one tough little guy to be going through all this in less than a year. Sending lots of PD for Ryan, Brooke, Tony and of course for his grandma too.

He's such a cutie- so sorry to hear of more surgery. Poor guy, doesn't seem fair.

Oh my...what a trooper this little boy has been and I have no don't he will continue "Trooping" his way right through to a healthy recovery from this latest challenge. I am sending a heaping helping PD and Hugs!!!
