Status: offline 		Pecos Bill's, at WDW's Magic Kingdom, has filed for permits to install more Self Order kiosks at the restaurant.  They had four, and found they were working out quite well, so they are proceeding with the expansion.

Status: offline 		Snowy, you aren't stupid at all.  Self order kiosks give you the ability to key in your food order, and than it spits out a ticket, and you go to the counter, pay for your order, and pick up your order.

Status: offline 		They used these at Taste Pilots at DCA and while we used them, there were some problems with  them not being very user friendly.
The options could be confusing and many guests needed help with them-especially when it came to payment options and discounts.
Seemed like each kiosk had a CM standing there helping guests.
At our last visit in August, the kiosks were gone and it was back to the usual.
Probably by now they will have all the kinks worked out.
I think DLR is a good place to trial such things with all their APs and local guests.
Taste Pilots has a similar limited menu like Paco Bills'.

There is a screen-kinda like an ATM-you chose your  meal by number if that's what you wanted, there was a second screen for options..like No Fries..etc.
Drinks were seperate too.
When it was all ordered you got a screen for payment..
I think we used it 3-4 times and never were able to naviagate it without CM input.

Reminds me of those 'self check out' lines at the grocery store. I swear I can never get through one with out help. Seems to always have an issue! GRRRRRR!!!!!
I try to avoid them, I'm paying for someone to ring up my order!! LOL

Status: offline 		This will be very cool I think. Anything to help get those lines moving through and get me closer to the melty cheese! LOL mmmm melty cheese! =o) I LOVE Pecos! It's one of our favorites. One of the better quick service burgers on property now that I think about it. Most are hit or miss and remind me of my high school's cafeteria.
