Hi all,

We  just returned, and I noticed next to the Toy Storia Mania attraction in HS there is a HUGE space boarded up with "hot set" under construction signs all around . . . anyone know what's going to be put in there?  I am very curious - that area is hopping now!  On my last visit it was a near deserted alleyway that was a quick way to navigate back to the hat from the back of the park . . .

Toy Story Mania by the way is awesome for those who have not done it yet!  With the blessing of smart planning, fast passes and pixie dusted dream fast passes, my son managed to ride it 5 times one day!!

I am totally impressed!  That's a busy attraction

Ooh, I wonder what is coming up, too...  Maybe the "American Idol" attraction?

I loved Toy Story Mania.  I unfortunately only got to do it one time.  I'll definitely do it again on our next visit.
Like Ahnalira, I thought it was going to be the American Idol attraction.

Hi there....I KNOW

Here's how we did it . . .

we had heard the fast passes on prior days had all been distributed by 11:30 a.m. so we went to HS about 30 mintues prior to opening time (I have NEVER done this before) and as soon as they let us in, we hightailed it over (along with everyone else in the park) over to TSM.....it seemed most of the people were there with their whole groups cards, because by the time we got to the ride, the line for the fastpasses was out of control.  We had decided from the get-go to roll the dice and get right one line for the ride, and hopefully get fast passes to return later on . . .and so we did.  We breezed right through up past Mr. Potato Head ....around there is where the line started to slow down, but from when we were allowed to walk through to when we got off the ride it was about 28 minutes, so the wait was really nothing.

When we got off, the line for fast pass was HUGE!  But, my husband got online and got fast passes for all 7 in our party while grandmom and grandpop took the girls to see Goofy and Pluto, and I brought my son over to star tours.  On Star Tours, my son and I won dream fast passes . . . we returned at 12 for our next ride, and the grandparents did not want to go . . .so we had 2 extra fast passes.  They still had fastpasses left, so my hubby picked up 5 more  - to ride between 7-8.    My husband and I with our 3 kids rode once more, and when we got off I took my son back on (the grandparents fast passes) while dh brought the girls to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid.   We left the parks for dinner, and returned in time for our next fast pass window, and then my husband took my son on one more time with the dream fastpasses while I brought the girls over to get seating for fantasmic....it worked out well!

So  . . . hopefully some of you reading this can plan similarly and get on easily as well!!
My best advice would be if you can get to the park at opening, GET ON LINE right away for the ride, if you can secure fast passes afterwards do it, but people were seriously waiting longer to get a fast pass than to get on the ride at the very first thing.  It does cue up really fast though, buy the time we got off the ride (28 minutes after park opening) it was about a 50 minute wait to ride.    The fast passes for the day that day we're gone by 1:00 in the afternoon.

I can verify that FastPass line fills fast.  We got there right before noon to get fastpasses, and they were already gone for the day  We took the Singles line and it was about a 10 minute wait...  but it is more fun to ride with loved ones and buddies
