Pixie Dust! Sigh!

I went back to the Doctor today and my Phmonia is still hanging on now another round of Anti-biotics and a Nebulizer with two different medications for it and another medication for coughing i think . Today I feel like i got hit by a truck and any little effort just makes me feel wiped out.

I really am so tired of this thing hanging on in my body. I have to call the Doctor on Monday and let him know how i am doing. We are trying to avoid being admitted to the hospital but he said if that is the only way to get me to rest he will do it. I am really upset and crying because how can i rest with three kids and I do have 1 daycare kid this wk and next wk so not the extra 5 like before. But I just don't know what more i can do Joe tries to let me rest when he gets home but he does not and will not cook so that is up to me as well.

So I am hoping that extra Potent Pixie Dust will help alot.

  Oh Amie

I feel so bad for you, and what you've been going through being sick for so long.    I know how exhausted being sick cam make you, your  body is fighting off all that nasty bacteria in your system and that drains a lot of energy from you.     Here's a HUGE load of extra-extra-extra powerful
Maybe, maybe, maybe if all else fails you might need to go into the hospital for a few days?   Nobody likes doing that, and I know you feel very responsible to your darlin' children, wanting to be there for them, as well as for your day-care children that depend on you.
But you gotta take care of YOU before you can take care of THEM.
If your health worsens, God Forbid, you will really not be able to do what you want for your children.     I'm certain Joe is doing all that he can so that you can rest when he is home, but I wonder if helping you out in the kitchen is really too much to ask of him?
You say he does not, and will not. cook ... is that because he does not how to cook?   Is it because he thinks that is "woman's work"?
Is he afraid of preparing the simplest of meals?   I am certainly the greatest cook in the world, but I know how, and I can throw together a semi-healthy, well-balanced meal so no one will starve.
I know I can not be too critical or judgemental of Joe, I don't really know him at all.   I'm sure he does his best to help you,
and be there for you to take care of the family when you need some help.    I think that maybe if he could/would prepare something, anything, for dinner for the kids that would take a lot of pressure off of you.    Even if all he did was make them sandwiches that might be a huge help for you?    OK, I have spoken, maybe said too much  :-)    I am just worried for you AND your family.    Now, go get yourself some NEEDED rest, try to sleep, and make sure everyone knows you MUST have some "space" and time for YOU to heal so you can come back to them ASAP.     Sorry if I came off sounding too harsh ....
Hugs,
Corey

Coreybear~~I'm with YOU.  Even if Joe opens a jar of spaghetti sauce, adds some x-tra spices while the noodles boil.  THAT would be SUCH a relief....Add to that a little lettuce in a bowl w/dressing???  Sorry, I REALLY have to keep my mouth shut.  But, Corey's  "RIGHT ON" when he says "YOU have to take care of YOU B/4 you can care for THEM"......My
husband can't boil water most of the time, but when I'm sick~he takes over....EVEN IF IT MEANS GETTING CARY OUTS!!

PD for a quick and speedy recovery....

Also, some hugs to help you feel better~~        NOT to be nosey, but have you tried explaining to the day care mom that you're just "NOT UP TO IT???"  I'm sure she'll understand ...At least, I HOPE she would???

Sorry if I offended or hurt your feeling in anyway....

Feel Better Soon,
Maryutigger

Yes Corey Joe has no idea Last time I let him loose in the kitchen he gave the kids scrambled eggs with honey and chocolate on it just because he was curious as to how it tasted and all i heard about from the kids was how gross daddy's cooking was. Most of the time He just stands there with the fridge door open like he is hoping something will fly out already prepared. ( shaking my head with a little giggle) now doing the dishes he is great at! and for that I am greatful because I hate doing dishes and specially when i am not up to par.

So last night I made spagetti and tonight I made my mom's Tuna cassarole ( only with chicken instead because Isaac is allergic to tuna) and made pleanty so I am not cooking the next two nights plus i put hot dogs in the fridge to thaw not the healthiest but it is food. Princess Savannah made her and her brothers Sandwhichs today such a sweet heart. and she went and took Isaac to his Bus stop and went and got him when it was time for me. ANd she vaccumed and unloaded the dishwasher. Such a big helper today. When did she get old enough to do all that. Whaaa....

As far as the daycare Mom the child is 18 months and she is here usually just during nap time sometimes later till dinner but Joe loves that little girl and she is usually his shawdow too. She has left her 6 yr old at home with his older brothers this wk for me. He is the one that needs entertained and no longer naps.

SO thankful for friends like you all knowing you care helps . I am doing my best poor family did not eat till 8:30 tonight but no one complained. Now if I could get those dumbo construction guys to not arrive till 8 am instead of 6:30 everymorning and not leaving till 10 pm maybe we could all get some decent rest around here. Hard to rest when your whole house is vibrating even your bed from all the big trucks outside ( they are replacing drain system and expanding the park that is directly across the street)

Thanks for the extra potent Pixie Dust Corey and Mary!

Amie!     I hope you get much better soon, and that you get some rest.  You're smart to make a lot at once and have left overs.  It also might have to be sandwhiches a few nights.

 Amie
I also agree with Corey that you have to take care of YOU before you can take care of others.  I'm worried that you will end up in the hospital.  So to hopefully prevent that I'm send you a big dose of PD

Extra strength pneumonia-fighting
If this doesn't work 48 hours of IV antibiotics might help!!

Thanks everyone I greatly appreciate all the well wishes. I think the Nebulizer treatments are helping. Although I think I need to switch the 12 hour treatment or do something that One makes me sweat and shakey all over almost like some sort of buzz  I never got to a deep sleep last night I think I woke up every 10 to 20 minutes. Plus Joe was Tossing and Turning alot and woke me up everytime he moved ( which normally never bothers me) SO TOday I am very tired I did get a 2 hr nap even Savannah napped today ( i made her she has been very crabby the last two days)
She got grounded last night from dad for talking back so much even after being asked to stopped.

So anyways besides being extremly tired today I am feeling better as far as the coughing goes, So that Pixie Dust must be working!

Love you all hope you all have a great weekend! Amie
