Disney will not be offering fireworks at Magic Kingdom, or Fantasmic at Disney Hollywood Studios, every night of the week.  The shows will only take place a few times a week.  Looking at the 2009 calendar, it appears that whenever Disney Hollywood Studios, or Magic Kingdom, are scheduled to close at 7:00 pm, there are no fireworks scheduled.  Epcot remains the only Disney theme park to have a nightly show, with Illuminations scheduled each night at 9:00 pm.

It looks like starting in January, Fantasmic will be offered every night Jan 1-3 and after that every Monday and Thursday. LOL I'm not thrilled about it personally but...what can ya do right?

Here's how it breaks down pretty easy to read:

Fantasmic is running January 1-3 then every Monday and Thursday in January.

Feb 1-5  Fantasmic is not scheduled. The schedule for February is really peppered with Fantasmic and the scheduling really doesn't make any sense (I tried to find a real pattern in it). Fantasmic will be shown on February: 6th, 9th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 25th, 28th.

March kind of sticks to this same random schedule as February: 4th, 5th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 25th, 26th, 29th.

That's a real bummer.  I love to tell my clients about the great night time shows offered at the parks.  It just seems like a Disney tradition to end with fireworks or Fantasmic.  That makes me sad.
