Mickey's Pirate & Princess Party  - Embark on a quest for treasures and the life of scurvy pirates and pretty princesses at Mickey's Pirate and Princess Party, a special Magic Kingdom® adventure. The 2008 party dates have come to an end, check back for future dates for 2009!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party - Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a one-of-a-kind Halloween party where guests can trick-or-treat immersed in the fantasy of the Magic Kingdom Park. It takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight on select nights in September, October and November.

    High Rock Spring Pool Slide: 09/08/08 - 09/26/08
    For Guest enjoyment, High Rock Spring Pool will continue to operate during this timeframe; only the pool slide will be closed. The other pools at Disney's Saratoga Springs will also be open for enjoyment.

    Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort 

    Stormalong Bay Pool Slide: 05/05/08 - 05/08/08
    During this time only the water slide in the Albatross pirate ship at the Stormalong Bay Pool Complex will be closed; the pool will remain open. Guests may visit the Luna Park pool complex at Disney's BoardWalk Resort to take advantage of the nearby recreational experience.

    My family and I are going to Walt Disney World in 5 months, we are SO excited! My husband and I have been there 3 times prior and all 3 times the Pirates of the Caribbean ride was closed due to refurbishment. My husband has been so disappointed, he really wants to see this ride. Does anyone have any confirmations or know of any rumors about it closing in April 08'?

    I haven't heard anything "official" about Pirates closing for refurbishment next April 08.  I think this trip might be one where your hubbie gets to enjoy the Jack Sparrow theming  Anyway, I'm holding that happy thought for him
