First of all, let me say: We LOVE this hotel... It is like an art masterpiece no matter which way you look Just walking through the entrance of stained glass is an awe-inspiring experience

The Theming is " Craftsman" style and this resort was designed by the same architect that designed the Wilderness Lodge and the the Animal Kingdom Lodge... The detail here is YUM! This is the registration area:

and the Holiday lobby. Every evening Santa came as well as carolers and storytellers. It was really a hoppin' place at night

This fellow, and others like him, stood in attendance on every floor at the elevators.

The hallways had lovely sitting nooks in case folks need a rest " on the way"

And now our lovely room...

LOVE the tree images in the wood cabinet and the rose border in the wallpaper!

The vanity includes a coffeemaker as well as several extra touches like a vase with dried flowers in it.

I don' t usually take pictures of the door between the vanity and bathroom, but this wooden ' slider' is too cool to leave unmeantioned, imho

And HOW ABOUT THIS SHOWER CURTAIN?!

After settling our luggage in, we headed down to dinner at the Storyteller' s Cafe. We caught this lovely view of the grounds from the walkway...

and look how close the Californian Adventure Park is! This shot is through the gates of the pool area.

I love it!! I want to go and stay there. Love those stainglass doors. Hopefully, I' ll get to stay there the first of October 1-9 for my annual association meeting. It' s going to be running Oct. 2 -5 at the Anaheim Marriott and if the websites are correct it' s only 2 blocks from Disneyland. I can stay there and walk. How cool is that!!

Can' t wait to see more.

I love the pics! Don' t you just love the detail of the stone murals in the front desk?...and the individualized lanterns at all the stations? I was in awe the first time I saw that. I have mentioned it to several people and they hadn' t noticed it, so I always try to point it out in advance when I know someone will be staying there.

GREAT pictures! Can' t wait to see the rest!
