Yesterday and today were auditions at the High School for Hello Dolly!.

Our theater department went through a terrible shake down after our musical last spring. It was awful. But, what's done is done. So, this year, we have a new director and a whole new start to the theater program at Harrison High. Onward and upward, right?

So, Lindsay auditioned this afternoon. And, tonight, after 7 PM, the call backs list will be posted. She feels she did pretty well today, and will at least make it in the chorus. But, Lindsay is hoping to at least get a part where the character has a name. LOL Soon we'll be slipping off to check the auditorium doors and see if her name is on the list. If you have a little pd that can withstand our freezing temps, send it off for Miss Lindsay!

Wish her luck! Away we go!

Woot...BREAK A LEG, Lindsay!!

Greg and I were in "Hello Dolly" our senior year in High School. We were dating and we had a lot of fun...even though we didn't get to play "Love interests". He played Horace Vandergelder (Dolly's love interest) and I played Irene Malloy (Cornelius Hackel's Love interest). However, *Ahem* People did find Irene and Horace making out a couple times backstage. hehe. Don't tell Cornelius or Dolly!

Seriously though, very fun show, and a challenging one for a high school. We have the video of ours and we get a hoot out of watching it now and then.
