While the menu may be simple...
The interior theming is a FEAST for the eye!
Seating is colorful and plentiful.
The Chicken Ceasar Salad was fresh and perfectly "dressed", imho.
The Pizza Breadsticks were warm, cheezy, and a good complement for the salad.
The meal, which included a large bottle of water was just over $10, making Pizzafari a "real meal deal" by Disney World standards!
We recently had a very inexpensive lunch at Pizzafari in the Animal Kingdom - our first time there in many years. I decided to go with the Hot Italian-Style Sandwich. Meat lovers will love this, it's piled high with lunch meats. What I enjoyed most was that it was nice and warm and flavorful. Ahnalira got the Vegetable Pizza with Caesar salad. The pizza's are reminiscent in shape and flavor of Pizza Hut personal pizzas -- which is great if you're a fan of Pizza Hut. I think they might more accurately be called focaccia pizzas -- the texture and loft of the crust was rather focaccia like (definitely not a thin crust) -- with a spattering of cheese and diced vegetables. Price was very moderate, in the lower 20s for both of us. Thus, I call this the economical choice if you want to eat lunch at the Animal Kingdom in a comfortable setting. Last time I went was in April 2008 and it was just plain horrible ! I went with 3 girlfriends and they all got ceasar salads and breadsticks while I had a cheese pizza; their salads were soaking in dressing the plate looked white and the breadsticks were cold. My pizza's dough was completely raw and the sauce was cold as well !!! Would definately not go again. --- On the "up" side it's very kid friendly so it's a good place to take the little ones, we weren't annoyed because we all like children but if you're a group whose trying to get a break from screaming kids don't go there.

Pizza is my favorite food, and Pizzafari hit the spot! Their cheesy breadsticks go wonderfully with their cheese pizzas! The pizzas from Pizzafari differ from others around Walt Disney World property, I don't know what it is, but it's good! Their salads are plentiful and tasty! I especially like the Chicken Caesar Salad! You assuredly get your money's worth! Along with yummy food, the theming is wonderful, and seating usually isn't a problem. Service is generally pretty fast also. All in all, Pizzafari is the best place to eat in Animal Kingdom if you want to take a break from park craziness, without having to spend the time as you would waiting even with Priority Seating, and to enjoy good food!
