|Cinderellas Royal Table Breakfast Review
OLP reviews a princess packed breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table in Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World®
Cinderella's Royal Table
Cinderella is hosting a whole new 'spread'. The new design includes a picture taken with either Cinderella or the Fairy Godmother before heading into the restaurant as well as a 10 minute dinner show with the Fairy Godmother
and her two assistants, Suzy and Perla
The format of the character show is unique; rather than coming to each table for pictures and autographs, there is a 'scripted' show about how make a successful wish (hint: BibbidybobbidyBOO; >) while the characters dance amongst the guests. I liked it!
The dinner includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, and beverage...
with warm pretzel rolls to start
We chose the Vegetarian Spring Roll as our appetizer. It tasted very fresh, if somewhat bland.
For an entree, I chose the Cheese Tortelli and Veggies
and Alan got the Salmon
We agreed that his was the better choice. We special ordered a sugar free dessert, Chocolate Bread Pudding, and it was by and far the highlight of the meal
Of course, the ambiance of eating in a castle adds to the experience ALOT! The dinner was prepaid when we made our reservations and came to $93 and change for two of us. Most of the value is in the ambiance and show, we think, but - all in all - The OLP Dining review team gives Cinderella's Royal Table a four out five stars
I was so lucky to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table last week. It was so magical. First stop, we had our picture with Cinderella!! Next to our table, which was at the glass with a view of Fantasy land. PERFECT!! The meal, so delicious. I had the tenderloin with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was perfectly cooked and the taste was out of this world. For dessert I had the strawberry cheese cake.
I used to go with my family every trip, but the price is out of my range now. Loved doing a "meet and greet" while we ate. Guess that's the price of it being so popular.
My wife and kids dragged me here. I thought the price was crazy high...and still do. But the look on my little girl's face when she talked to the princesses was priceless! The food was better than I expected, too. Will I do it again? Not likely. But I'm glad they talked me into it, and that's why I'm writing this review because it was worth it for the experience of eating in the castle with princesses.
My daughter loves all of the princesses so we had to eat in the castle and meet them. The price was intimidating, but we bit the bullet and made the reservations. I was expecting mediocre food with the focus on "meet and greet." I was happily wrong. The food, while somewhat limited in selection, was delicious. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal...until we got the check. That brought back to reality...and so a 4 instead of a 5 rating. My daughter, though, would give it a 10. She is still talking about the princesses she met there.
The venue at Cinderella's Royal Table has changed several times over the years...from princesses strolling among the guests to a live show with the fairy godmother and back to princesses again (but with a soundtrack behind them for introductions.) I've enjoyed all of them, but I must say the star of our most recent visit to the castle for breakfast was the food! It was delicious!!! (Watch the video clip review to see for yourself what we were served ; >)
Of course, you will pay plenty for the honor of dining in the castle with princesses. But,even so, for me it was several of handful of dimes well spent!
We signed up months ahead of time to get our spot at Cinderella's Royal Table, and I honestly didn't have high hopes for my meal there. We've been here many times, and it's a great princess character breakfast in a spectacular castle setting -- but the food had always been pretty much the standard Disney breakfast fare -- until now! OMG, I still can't believe I had Filet Mignon for breakfast! Although the options on the menu were pretty limited, the food that we got was really delicious. My steak and eggs was elevated beyond belief with the use of perfectly cooked chunks of Filet Mignon and a delicious cheesy, and a bit spicey, chunk of scrambled eggs. Perfectly cooked rosemary potatoes topped off the best breakfast I've had all week.
Ahnalira had the quiche which was also exceptional, and of course we had our special moments with a bevy of love
We have made this our tradition! It's always special to dine in "Cinderella's Castle". The picture package being included is a nice feature!!
I was lucky enough to secure a dinner reservation here and it was so magical! First off to dine in the castle... wow! The food was so good. I chose the salad for starters. It was fresh with a very good dressing. My main course was steak that you could cut with your fork. It was served with potatoes. Dessert I had a custard and flourless choc. cake. YUM! Two mickey thumbs up on the food! I have to be honest and say our server was not all that great. The service itself - awesome. Her mood, not so great. Little cranky.
Unlike you guys, I was at CRT for breakfast. First we got the picture with Cinderella. Then we waited for our name to be called and were taken upstairs to the dining room. The view of the park from there is breathtaking! Really unreal to be inside the castle, a dream millions of people have but never get to experience. I think its awesome Disney gives everyone the chance to be in the actual castle. The breakfast started with a variety of breads and delicious fresh fruit. Then we were givin a plate which had eggs, bacon, and sausage. Everything was delicious, and we were offered as much as we wanted! The characters were introduced one by one, and then they started to make there way around the dining room. The interaction was good, and the number of princesses was awesome! At one point, wands were passed out, and everyone was instructed to wave them around and make a wish. The price is not bad at all of you really think abou
I had gone to Cinderella's Royal Table three times before (2005, 2000 and 1998) and it was always good but not great !!! This January I went again and the food was unbelievable, maybe the chef was new or something but the meal was simply amazing. For starters we had the roasted mussels and they were finger-lickin' good !! For entrees, I had the ahi tuna, and it was better than most places, perfectly made, just the ride shade of dark pink in the middle and the top was crispy but not burnt... Amazing ! My husband had the lamb and it was incredibly savory. Among the kids (9, 14, [girls] and 15 [boy]) they tried the grilled chicken and the seafood stew. Mldest daughter was full from a popcorn she had recently eaten so she opted for a green salad and a seafood egg roll from the appetizers menu. Nless to say everything was delicious; the stew was as fresh as if were in Maine! The grilled chicken was yummy and Emily's salad and egg roll were yummy as w
I just loved it here! Beautiful setting! :)
True magic waits for you here. It takes two dinner meals from your dining plan to eat here but you will not be dissapointed! The food is excellent and the experience is wonderful. During out meal a gentleman asked his girlfriend to marry him complete with the ring in a glass slipper! The Fairy Godmother is awesome and just being able to eat in the castle is the magic of Disney all in one. Make reservations as soon as you book your trip. Many people were trying to get in by just showing up and it was sad to see the little kids dissapointed.
It is so fun eating in the castle. Every child should get to do it! We ate dinner here in August. We got some neat pictures with Cinderella. We didn't have to wait long for our table. The food though.....we didn't love it. The appetizers:There was no adult ones that appealed to me, so I ate the kids appetizers also-fruit, veggies and cheese. For entrees, my daughter had the tortellini. The sauce tasted just like tomato soup out of a can, she said it tasted like rubber. My son had the mini hot-dogs with tater tots and green beans. He liked the tater tots, thats it. Hubby and I had the prime rib. It was pretty good. It came with a few potatoes, which were also good. The desserts were the best part of the meal. Daughter had sherbet, and son had ice-cream with chocolate crown. I had the raspberry chocolate mousse, it was delicious, as was the little cookie with it. The Fairy Godmother sang and the mice danced around. It was neat to look out the window and see down Main Street USA. Glad we

We had an early dinner, 4:05 p.m., at Cinderella's Royal Table, on August 24, 2006. We arrived to the podium at 3:45, and were brought in to have our picture taken with Cinderella about ten minutes later. This restaurant is all about the atmosphere, in my opinion. The food was good, but not impressive. Tim and I had prime rib, and Mari had salmon. The desserts were very good, and well presented. The wait staff is excellent at this restaurant, really made us feel like royalty. If you have never eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table, it is worth trying, just for the show you will see. The fairygodmother was wonderfully effervescent, and Suzy and Perla were just darling.
