This attraction is set in the deserted Hollywood Tower Hotel. Once inside the hotel, be sure to look around as the detail of the lobby is amazing. From there, visitors are sent into the library for a pre-show. Then you're onto the basement where you'll be loaded onto the service elevator. Once loaded into the elevator, guests travel through the hotel. Before dropping, the elevator door opens, allowing guests to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the park. Tip: Once in the library, for the pre-show, move to the opposite corner from where you entered. This door will open leading into the basement. Tip: In the basement, choose the left line - it's usually quicker.

We loved this ride in California Disneyland so we HAD to ride it here. It was a different experience than the one in Disneyland. Both are superior rides but both are very different. We were not disapointed in any way. Make sure you ride this before you eat lunch as it has "that effect" on you. But whatever you do, don‘t miss it. This is my FAVORITE ride at MGM studios, if Im lucky I get to hop right back on for 4 or 5 repeats! I just love that feeling of weightlessness and unpredictability. The theming is immaculate and sometimes you get a really creepy elevator operator which just adds to the fun! Read reviews by this author
