Went for the first time here (5th to Hollywood Studios) first week of January 2013 with the hubby and it was neither good or bad. I had the quinoa and arugula salad, it was great but too much dressing for my taste. Hubby had a burger....good fries but the burger had fake grill marks (reall, in 2013 they still do that?). Seating was good and place was clean but they were closing some sections/tables and when I went to sit down a Disney CM not very politely said "Can you please seat somewhere else we're about to clean". Overall it wasn't great, we rarely eat in the parks so have little to compare it too, might go again to split a salad as a snack, I can imagine it's a good place to get away from the heat during the summer months.
ABC Commissary received quite a face lift since the last time we visited! We stopped in for a cool drink in a cool spot, my jaw just about dropped on the floor when we walked in the front door to a palm tree lined, marble tiled entry way. The new furniture is nicely cushioned and very comfortable, and there is a generally upscale ambience about the place now (what used to be a plastic chair sort of cafeteria type counter service).
Can't say much about the food although I did notice that they now have curry chicken and asian salad which seems fancier than the previous offerings.
Worst food in WDW. Took my order incorrectly and would not do anything about it. Food was terrible - waste of dining plan credits.
Horrible. My whole family went and ordered, sat down at an empty table ( now I know why so many were empty). I ordered the cheese burger and fries. Let's just say the fries was the highlight of my meal. The burger was like rubber. ( which made us nickname it the "Rubber Burger"). Don't wast your money here.
II just love this place, another one of my "must stops" at MGM. The food is different, the cuban is a good choice, as well as the wrap. My kids usually get the asian noodles, everyone leaves full and satisfied!
Every single one of my, to say the least, numerous visits to the MGM studios includes a stop at the Commissary. The food there is excellent and such a departure from the normal theme park fair. I highly recomend the Cuban Sandwich.
The only downside to the restaurant is the loop of ABC advertisments on the TVs. If you're a quick eater though, you won't catch a repeat.
