Located in the Mexican Pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase, this eatery is full service.

The theming is warm and inviting; everything was shipped from Mexico for authenticity.

Seating includes both booths and tables with plenty of space between.

Chips and Salsa came with the menus (of course; >)

The Black Bean Soup was both hearty and flavorful.  Alan liked the spice:)

The Salad was delicate and a wonderful mix of flavors.  I LOVED it!

The Pork Loin with Mole Negro was delicious (adored the mashed squash!).

Alan thought the Flank Steak was well seasoned and he enjoyed the tamale that was served on top.

While they didn't have a sugar free dessert, we found the view from table to be plenty sweet!  I'm told if you come at the right time, you'll see Illuminations.

All in all, we were very happy with our service, the quality of the food, and the ambiance.  OLP will most assuredly return for seconds

Really enjoyed it!
1/27/2012 by Jodi

We had the pleasure of dining at La Hacienda de San Angel in December of 2011.  What a nice experience!  We were seated promptly and our server was friendly and gracious.  We started with appetizers.  Mine was the black bean soup which was absolutely amazing.  I really could have made a meal of just that.  For my entree I had the Mole.  It was delicious, however, I wish I had been warned about the VERY hot little red peppers in it.  I spent 10 minutes trying to get my mouth to cool down!  So if you get the Mole and you don't want your mouth on fire, I recommend pulling out the little red peppers.  I did share my experience with our server and he promised to warn other patrons.  He really was a great waiter and kept our beverages filled and a smile on our faces.  I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.  It has a more authentic taste than mo

Best of the trip

I'm going to give the Hacienda another five stars! We had dinner here with friends and family and everybody agreed that this was the best tasting meal of our trip (which included quite a few excellent restaurants!). We scheduled ourselves to see Illuminations and got a spectacular view. The only downside was the service, which was slow and erratic (the place was packed!). But the food is so good that I hardly cared. Also, its noisy in there, not a good place for a quiet chat. I recommend the Taquizas and the tortilla soup - both exceptionally good!

Awesome dinner here for our 25th Anniversary, 11/29.

The absolute best margarita I have ever had, our server was very attentive and sweet and often funny. We started with the Queso and Chorizo, delish! Then my DH had the chicken and I had the Tilapia - the portion of fish I received was so large, I was very disappointed that I could not finish it! So we did not have room for dessert, we opted for Tequila instead, they have a resident expert that is there to help and answer any questions, the whole experience was very warm and inviting, we did not want to leave and the view from the dining room is gorgeous, if we had been there later we would have had incredible seats for Illuinations, we opted to watch from our room back at the Boardwalk...

Delicious and Authentic!
12/9/2010 by Ser Alan
We just had a delicious dinner at the new La Hacienda de San Angel at the Mexican pavilion.  The restaurant is beautifully decorated -- they told us that everything in there was imported from Mexico.  The menu has many things that looked interesting, with the waitress's recommendation I settled on the flank steak which is a Mexican classic.  I preceded that with black bean soup which was very flavorful and light for a black bean soup -- with a bit of heat in it.  My only complaint was that the soup to tortilla strip ratio was a bit off, I would put about half as many chips in the soup.  It did not disappoint, it was very nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly.  It came with the little handmade corn tortillas which I have come to associate with authentic mexican cooking, as well as black refried beans and rice which were also delicious.  The steak was topped with a corn tamale and a cream sauce.  All in all, it wa
