The Wilderness Lodge Villas have capitalized on the serenity of the
Wilderness Lodge Resort in creative and artful ways. From the lamps that
appear to flicker like candlelight to the sound of crickets chirping on
the walkways, the villas ARE the wilderness revisited. Themed after the
lodges of famous national parks like Yosemite, the Wilderness Lodge
Villas lobby creates a study in natural beauty and relaxing corners. As
well, the villas share the magnificent lobby of the Wilderness Lodge
Resort. From the giant fireplace in the lobby to the geyser that goes
off every hour by the pool to the forest of pines all around the resort,
the Wilderness Lodge is a cozy and intimate taste of nature. The villas
also share
- Direct boat service to Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort
- A themed pool with waterfall and two spas; one hot and one warm
- Walking and/or biking distance to River Country waterpark and Ft
Wilderness area
- Artist Pointe full service restaurant specializing in Northwest
cuisine and wine pairings, and smokehouse cuisine at Whispering
Canyons (serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Two tours daily; a morning tour that focuses on architecture and
theming and an afternoon tour that offers a sampling of the
smokehouse fare
- Daily family picked to take the American Flag down from the top of
the resort The Sturdy Branches fitness center
- A quiet pool
As a home-away-from-home resort, Wilderness Lodge Villas offer fully
stocked kitchens with one bedroom and two bedroom options. The studios
have small areas with a microwave, under the counter refrigerator,
coffeemaker, and bar sink. Wilderness Lodge Villa rooms sleep as many as
four in the studios and as many as eight in the two bedroom units.
Fantasy in the Sky fireworks can be view from the upper main balconies
and there is a nightly performance of the Electrical Pageant Parade from
the beach. Room service is available until 11PM.

 — Hidden gemI think people forget how close this resort is to the Magic Kingdom. Just a short boat ride away. This place is beautiful and closer than you think. — Love this place! We stayed at this resort for a couple days for Thanksgiving and I can't say enough. The location is great. As a DVC member, the separate villa building with a quiet lobby you can sit and relax in was enjoyable. We ate at all 3 restaurants on site and enjoyed them all. The only negative was bell services, 40 minutes and they still never came after calling twice and got "On the way." and "You're next on the list." — lovely atmosphereWe have just returned from a week at the wildreness lodge villas. This ia a great resort, beautiful surroundings and the villas are so spacious. There were four of us in a studio: two adults and two teenage children. Although they complained that the sofa bed was uncomfortable, the resort and the ambiance made up for it. The main pool was closed during our visit , but as the weather was cold we probably would not have gone to the pool anyway. The staff were very helpful as my youngest had broken his leg two weeks before we arrived. We had requested a low level room or a room close to the elevator, and we received both requests. Also they had a wheelchair waiting for our arrival.Nothing was too much trouble and we will be visiting the villas again soon. Hopefully better weather next time.
