We've been eagerly anticipating the new StoryBook Princess Character Breakfast!

And, OH MY!, it really was like being in a castle..

Check out the waiting area for children...

Normally, the Askershus Restaurant is a buffet...

For the breakfast, though, food is served "family style" on a tiered platter

We, of course, had called ahead for the sugar free dining options/  Our breakfast included, fruit, sugarfree cereal, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and French Toast.

Princess breakfasts aren't really about the food anyway, n'est-ce pas?  They're about the PRINCESSES!  And, I might add this was the BEST character breakfast I've enjoyed for quite awhile.  All of the princesses were in character, and our interactions were pure Disney Delight.

Doesn't Ser Alan make an excellent poseur?  I particularly enjoy how Belle inspires him to hopefulness...

And last, but not least, a most gracious Sleeping Beauty

We (the OLP reviewers; >) LOVED this princess breakfast and recommend with all four of our thumbs!
PS... watching all the little ones in their "princess attire" was as much fun as meeting the characters!

Well worth it!!

This Breakfast was well worth it.  We were first greeted by Belle in her princess atire for a formal picture and autograph.  After we were seated we were able to help ourselves to the all you can eat cold breakfast bar which had rolls, fruit and some items that are exclusive to just Norway.  We told the kids they should try some of the goat cheese and red herring just to try something different.  Our waiter then brought out the good traditional breakfast food such as the eggs, bacon, sausage and hashbrowns.  You won‘t go hungry as they keep bringing it out as much as you want.  My kids are teenagers.  My teenage daughter was like a little girl again seeing all the princesses who came from table to table and my 11 yr old and 14 year old boys loved all the food as seeing the princesses as well.  They took their time at each table answering questions and talking to the kids as well as getting their pictures taken with them.  We had Snow W

We liked this breakfast a lot.

We did feel that the characters moved a bit fast and some of the kids missed a chance to get a picture with them.

The food was very good-too much food actually-and we found out afterward that you could ask for a lighter option.

We should have asked,I know.

Wonderful to get to see MaryPoppins!!
