I‘m not sure what people are expecting at Planet Hollywood, but we‘ve had nothing but good food and good service. It‘s loud and it bustles with energy for sure but that‘s why we choose it. If you want a quiet spot for conversation and visiting, you are probably better choose a different spot. If you want a fun, electric atmosphere that‘s still family-friendly then Planet Hollywood is your restaurant! Go visit Disney Pin Traders, the huge Disney store, and eat at Planet Hollywood! That‘s a fun night!!
Too loud and to crowded! The first time we went it was just ok...food was good but we were stuck next to the swinging doors to the kitchen. The next time we went, we were on the front next to the stage/dj spot. The food was ok. But what made me leave before dessert was some drunk, and very loud people right next to us. They were very rude when asked to calm down, they got louder, so we left and we will never go back.
We went to WDW in the spring of 2006 and had ADR for Planet Hollywood. There were 8 in our party ranging in age from 7 to 59. None of us liked this place...the music was so loud we could not even hear each other. Our waiter was extremely rude and kept refering to my DD as "the kid". We ending up leaving before our food arrived b/c the service and the atmosphere were so bad!
My kids say "Give it 6 stars!" They really liked it here. The ambience was neat. They loved seeing the movie props. The service was so-so. My daughter had the ribs, and loved them. My son had the cheeseburger, which came out pink, so we sent it back for more cooking, which wasn't a problem. The appetizers were big, portions were big, and prices were fair. We had pasta, burgers, ribs, clubhouse sandwich and spagetti, and everyone was happy. The best was the Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie! The best dessert of our entire trip! Sooooo delicious! The gift shop had cheap t-shirts too. We will definately go back here again!
