Treehouse villas awesome! on 9/29/2009 by Ser Alan We recently spent a night at a newly refurbished treehouse villa and just loved it. The decor is themed after nature with a lot of stone and woodwork. The kitchen islarge with a real icemaker and the living room is spacious and well furnished. This is a great value and ranks #2 on my list of villas. Read reviews by Ser Alan

Grand Villa Stay, January 2008 on 2/24/2008 by Julie J Our family has been going to Disney World for more than 20 years. My parents became DVC members around 8 or 9 years ago. This was our first stay at Saratoga; though, we went to the "Disney Institute Spa" for treatments around 7 years ago and stayed at the Treehouse Resorts.
Okay - in January 2008, we stayed in the 3 bedroom 4 (full) bath Grand Villa at Saratoga Springs. We stayed in the Paddock, and it was completely quiet (since it was so empty). (2) adults 60+ years, (4) adults aged 33-41, and (3) babies aged 1 to 2 years. 9 people were EXTREMELY comfortable in this beautiful resort. Two bedrooms are upstairs, and if stairs are a problem, there is an entry to a hall directly from the second floor. Also, our washer/dryer was on the 2nd floor, unlike the grand villas at Old Key West. We were provided with a high-chair and two pack-and-play cribs. The grounds were exquisite, and we used the adorable (and safe - with a cushy ground cover) playground and pool RIGHT next to our room.
Though we mostly used our rental van to get to and from parks, part of our group occasionally took the buses - which were surprisingly quick. My parents drove from Oklahoma with a car-load of non-perishable snacks and beverages, including dry goods for meals (like soup and pasta). The rest of us stopped at the grocery on the way in and bought perishables - fruit, milk, etc. We cooked two meals a day in the room, including fruit salads and cereal for breakfasts, and dinners like grilled-cheese & tomato soup or spaghetti, salad, & garlic bread for dinners. We even made slice & bake cookies. All cooking supplies were in the room. Lots of coffee was already in the room, so we didn't have to buy any. The only complaint - the open floor plan makes the acoustics really bad - loud if the TV is on. Small complaint for such a dreamy vacation! Really grew on me on 11/20/2007 by Ahnalira The more I stay at this resort, the more I love it. My first stay was in 2004 during one of the hurricanes, and I must admit I wasn‘t really paying much attention to the resort
I‘ve been there twice since. Each time I notice more details that make me appreciate the Disney continues to refine their product. For example, the tub layout is much more comfortable than the previously designed one bedroom tubs. The granite countertops in the kitchen are a delightful upgrade from tile, and the Artist‘s Palette is a perfect "Home Away From Home" dining venue with both eat in and take out ease
Bus service was convenient and timely both times we stayed. Read reviews by Ahnalira
Beautiful on 9/8/2007 by Mary Urquhart After visiting WDW more than 8 times, we decided it may be time to "discover the best kept secret".
Boy, are we glad we did!! Saratoga Springs is our home resort...We are thrilled it is!! We‘ve only
stayed here twice (with another trip planned for Nov. 2007) Just walking into The Carriage House
for check in was worth the trip alone. Our studio was located on the first floor, which was nice since
we didn‘t have to worry about any elevators or steps. We were also lucky enough to be across the lake
from Downtown Disney. We could hear the music from one of the many area attractions at night as we
relaxed on our patio enjoying an evening beverage. The studios are spacious enough for 4, but since
only had 3 adults staying it was more then enough. Our only disappointment is the fact that there really
isn‘t much to choose from on the menu at Artist‘s Palate. Although, we DID have a great breakfast there
our last day @ Disney. I would have to guess that with the convient location to Downtown Disney and
all of the restaurants to choose from there, we really can‘t complain. IF you get the chance to stay at
Saratoga Springs~~DO, you won‘t be disapointed Read reviews by Mary Urquhart
