Disney's Pop Century Resort

2,880 guest rooms; check-in time: 3 p.m.; check-out time: 11 a.m.. Rooms for guests with disabilities and non-smoking rooms are available.

Standard View/Standard Room: Rooms offer views of wooded landscaping, a courtyard and pool or parking area.

All Guest Rooms have two double beds or one king-size bed, table and chairs, vanity area with sink and a bathroom.

Guest Room amenities include in-room wall safe, voice mail, and data port on phone. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board and refrigerator are available upon request.

This hotel is filled with Disney theming, and I will never forget it. Pop Century is Disneys largest hotel so have fun.

Best pick for kids on 4/12/2010 by Tearie

We have stayed many times here with the family. It is great for food choices and entertaining for the kids. I loved how easy they make everything. My grandkids loved getting " home" and having a poolside movie to settle down with. The cast have always been the best. We tried other value resorts and have vowed only to go to Pop Century.

We stayed at Pop Century for 9 nights in early Feb 2010. We had a preferred room at and ended up at the very end of the top floor of the 70s, which we loved because we could see fireworks from our room/balcony. It was quite cold at night but the pools were nicely heated. We only ate at Everything Pop three times: once for bfast (good meal.. Lots of choices), once for lunch (was served a raw hamburger and the second one was barely cooked more), once for a late night pizza (quite good!). Disney transportation (DT) was fantastic! Never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. On the two nights that we exited a park right after fireworks, the bus lines for pop were huge, but DT put multiple buses on and we were back to the hotel in no time! We had done the online check, and were checked in within two minutes of entering the lobby. Check out, however, was not so great... We waited nearly 30 minutes for the cast member to say "you're all set. Have a great day." All in all, we loved the theming, the pools, the arcade, the store and the majority of the cast members! The rooms were small, but it was just my son and I. Be sure to take a hard look at the bounceback offer on the table in your room. If you don't get one, ask your mousekeeper if the have one. I wish we had booked our next trip using it... The people in the next room used it and got free dining for the next trip! We are going back and will likely stay at Pop again!

I liked the Pop Century Resort.  Their food was good, but the rooms were small but I liked it.  It has very fun big pools.  I would come back - fun for the kids.  I give it a 80 out of 100. I think Kids would love it.  Love, Alicia

We stayed at Pop Century in May of 2009. for 8 days.  We opted for just a standard room and were checked into a room on the ground floor in the 90's section near the computer pool.  After the first day of being in our room we started to notice tiny little centipedes crawling on the floor.  Not sure if they were out because of the time of year or the weather or even how they were getting into our room.  There were only a couple so we thought do big deal.  However, on the second day when we got back to our room after a really long day at MK there were ALOT of them.  We were really creeped out and called the front desk right away to ask for a new room.  There were very helpful.  Someone came fairly quickly and provided us with a new room key (same area but second floor) and then sent for someone to help us move all our bags.  It was a bit of a pain as I think the time was somewhere around midnight when all of this happened and we had to pack up everything to be moved, but I was very pleased with how the cast members assisted us.  Despite the issue with our first room we had an amazing vacation and we are planning our trip back to Disney/Pop for April 2010.

This hotel is very kid friendly. They have great deals and a great theme. They have amazing transportaion to the parks. When I went to Pop Century they had a special deal. You could buy a cup for $12 and refill it whenever which really helped us save money on drinks. I really think you should stay here. It is great for all ages!!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE CHOSEN POP CENTURY TWICE NOW.  THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AT DISNEY.  FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU ACTUALLY SPEND IN YOUR ROOM, IT IS CLEAN, NICE, FUN, GREAT POOLS AND WATER SPOUTS FOR KIDS TO PLAY IN.  LOVE THE GIFT SHOP AND FOOD COURT.  GROUNDS ARE CLEAN AND WELL KEPT.  LAUNDRY FACILITIES NICE.  WE SEE NO NEED SPENDING MORE MONEY ON A ROOM WHEN WE LEAVE THE HOTEL THE FIRST BUS THAT ARRIVES EVERY MORNING.  WE HAVE A FAMILY OF FIVE, AND HAVE STAYED HERE TWICE!  GREAT TIMES!!

We stayed here in October 2004 ,room 6213,a corner room. It was fairly quiet,we rarely heard the neighbors. We loved the icons,especially  Goofy by the corvette. Loved reading the Burma shave signs. The food court had lots of choices,and the servings were large enough to share. The buses weren't too crowded. Would definitely stay here again.

This resort has the total Disney Feel. Everything is upbeat & Clean & the Staff is top rate! THis resort makes you feel like a kid in a huge toyland of yester year. My Husband I love this resort so much We have only tried one other resort ( which was a moderate) & we came back to POP Century! Very Family Friendly! We  are getting ready to plan a new trip & this will make our 4th trip to Pop Century!

My Husband says the other resorts are nice but he is on vacation & wants to have fun! And the other resorts made him feel a little too stuffy. THis resort Made him feel free to be a Kid a Disney World even @ age 35!
